First, you will need to gather all the ingredients. All you will need are: half of a pound of potatoes, four cups of chicken broth, a can of cream of tomato soup, black pepper, and reduced sodium black pepper to taste. You can also use your favorite low sodium seasoning blend for this recipe as well. Now this particular recipe doesn’t require a can of soup to cook with, but, if you prefer, you can easily make your own low-sodium seasoning blend by using a can of condensed milk, a teaspoon of black pepper, and a half cup of dry pasta (we like whole wheat).
In addition, you will also need a package of boneless, skinless chicken thighs (which you can find at the grocery store), a cut thick crust of French bread, and a tablespoon of Italian dressing. Make sure that your skillet is well greased before you begin cooking.
Once you have gathered your ingredients and placed everything into your slow cooker, you simply allow your crockpot chicken recipe to do all of the work.
